About The Position

The Income Auditor audits casino activities, posts results for management reporting, and prepares month-end journal entries. The role requires auditing casino areas in accordance with applicable Gaming Commission regulations, federal and state laws and regulations, and company and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Two to five years of experience in finance and audit procedures, with a two-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Valid gaming license.
• Must be 21 or older.

Responsibilities

• Audit all areas of the casino in accordance with Gaming Commission regulations, federal and state laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Post numbers accurately and on time in spreadsheets used for daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.
• Notify the Lead or Manager of anything unusual or suspicious.
• Prepare month-end journal entries.
