About The Position

Omni Hotels & Resorts is hiring an Income Auditor for Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in the Texas Hill Country near Austin. The role analyzes daily night-audit work, verifies and posts financial activity, investigates discrepancies, and balances ledgers, charges, and accounts. The position requires a Monday–Friday shift and involves working with night audit and outlet teams to resolve posting questions and issues.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Excellent computer skills.
Ability to work a Monday–Friday shift.
Excellent communication skills.
Understanding of balance sheets and revenue versus expense accounts.
Working knowledge of the general ledger and chart of accounts.

Nice To Haves

Prior accounting or hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze daily night-audit work for accuracy and completeness.
Verify allowances and miscellaneous postings for proper authorization and coding.
Post daily sales journals to the general ledger.
Investigate discrepancies and develop procedures to eliminate them.
Communicate with night audit and outlets about posting questions or problems that affect the creation of sales journals.
Balance city, guest, and deposit ledgers.
Balance room packages and hotel guest charges.
Balance credit card accounts to ensure full payment of submitted items.
Balance accounts payable charges monthly.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of property management and point-of-sale systems.
