About The Position

American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Sales Lead Generators to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores. This role offers flexible hours, with weekend availability required. Part-time (up to 20 hours per week) and full-time (30-35 hours per week) opportunities are available. The position involves engaging with customers in a retail environment, educating them about home comfort solutions, and generating qualified leads for in-home consultations or service appointments. This is a great opportunity to build sales skills and develop a career in the home-services industry without door-to-door canvassing or cold calling.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts
• Weekend and some holiday availability
• Reliable transportation
• Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
• Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
• Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law

Nice To Haves

• Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred (not required)
• HVAC experience (not required)

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
• Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.
• Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs.
• Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions.
• Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.

• Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.
• Ensure productive hours by generating appointments each shift.
