In-Room Dining Cashier (Full-Time) - Waldorf Astoria Orlando
About The Position
Waldorf Astoria Orlando is looking for a Full-Time In-Room Dining Cashier to join the Food and Beverage Team! Surrounded by Walt Disney Resort, this luxurious Forbes 4-Star property has 502 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a pool, and in-room dining. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They will bring a positive, customer-focused attitude and a willingness to learn. Prior food and beverage or cashier experience is preferred but not required, and in-room dining experience is a plus. Shift Pattern: AM and PM Shifts/ Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Typical shifts are 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour, plus tips

Responsibilities
- Answer In-Room Dining telephones with poise and professionalism, responding to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner while providing an exceptional in-room dining experience.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu, ensuring you provide thoughtful recommendations that would enhance the guest’s dining experience by considering their preferences and needs.
- Make personalized recommendations for food and beverage items, ensuring that each guest's meal is curated to complement their tastes and preferences, creating an exceptional in-room dining experience.
- Take guest food and beverage orders with accuracy and attentiveness, inputting them promptly into the point-of-sale system, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- Reconcile checks upon order delivery, ensuring accuracy with check totals, gratuity disbursement, and managing the cash drawer and house bank in strict accordance with established accounting guidelines.
