About The Position

HeyTutor has partnered with a non-profit organization in Prince George, Maryland, to provide high-impact, in-person tutoring to high school students. This role focuses on supporting students in grades 9-12 with math during an after-school program. Requirements

• Completed AA degree or higher, OR currently enrolled in college (required)
• Comfortable tutoring high school math
• Ability to manage large groups of students independently
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting
• Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with high school students preferred

Responsibilities

• Tutor groups of students without direct teacher supervision
• Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials
• Create an engaging, welcoming learning environment
• Support positive student behavior and participation
• Track attendance and student progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard
• Assist with student assessments when requested
• Clock in/out daily using Deputy
• Complete additional duties as assigned
