About The Position

Autotiv is seeking a dedicated team player for its internal production shop. This role involves training on the advantages and disadvantages of 3D printing versus traditional manufacturing methods to accurately advise customers and identify optimal production or quoting strategies. The position will adapt between project management and shop floor duties based on business demands.

Requirements

Ability to advise customers accurately on 3D printing vs. traditional manufacturing tradeoffs.
Skill in identifying better ways to quote or produce work when alternatives exist.
Experience in project management, particularly with high-value, ITAR, or controlled projects.
Proficiency in operating additive manufacturing equipment.
Experience with post-processing additively manufactured parts.
Strong communication skills to liaise between different teams (shop, project management, logistics).
Knowledge of quality control and testing workflows.

Responsibilities

Ensuring excellent communication between customers and the team on high-value projects.
Assisting in managing parts within controlled offline workflows.
Building and maintaining project documentation.
Improving workflow setup and project documentation.
Supporting quotes, customer communication, and project follow-up.
Assisting with customer visits.
Operating additive manufacturing equipment.
Performing post-processing on additively manufactured parts.
Serving as a liaison between the shop floor, project management, and logistics teams.
Implementing quality control and testing workflows.
