In-House Project Manager and 3D Printing Technician

About The Position

Autotiv is on the lookout for a dedicated team player to join our internal production shop. If you’re driven by tasks and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want you! The goal is to train you on the tradeoffs between 3D printing and traditional manufacturing so you can advise customers accurately and identify better ways to quote or produce work when alternatives exist. This role may flex between project management and shop roles depending on business needs.

Requirements

Understanding of tradeoffs between 3D printing and traditional manufacturing
Ability to advise customers accurately
Ability to identify better ways to quote or produce work
Experience with high-value in-house work, especially ITAR or controlled projects and customers
Excellent communication skills
Experience managing parts in controlled offline workflows
Experience building and maintaining documentation
Experience improving workflow setup and project documentation
Experience supporting quotes, customer communication, and project follow-up
Experience supporting customer visits
Experience operating additive manufacturing equipment
Experience post processing additively manufactured parts
Experience as a liaison between shop, project management, and logistics teams
Experience with quality control and testing workflows

Responsibilities

Ensuring communication between customers and the team is excellent on these high value projects.
Helping manage parts in controlled offline workflows
Building and maintaining documentation
Improving workflow setup and project documentation
Supporting quotes, customer communication, and project follow-up
Helping with customer visits
Operating additive manufacturing equipment
Post processing additively manufactured parts
Liaison between the shop, project management, and logistics teams
Quality control and testing workflows
