About The Position

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and experienced In-Home Skilled Nurse to provide high-quality, personalized nursing care to patients in their homes in Washtenaw, Michigan. The nurse will help ensure patient comfort and safety while delivering effective treatment in accordance with physician orders and care plans. Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous experience in home health nursing or a related clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Kinnser.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Washtenaw County.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform wound care as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Document clinical information accurately and promptly in patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
