About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring experienced, skilled caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes. The role serves clients in York, Dover, Shrewsbury, and Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. It is a part-time position with up to full-time hours available depending on flexibility, availability, and client demand. Shifts include days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.
• Dependable, with a positive attitude.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

• One year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist clients with mobility, including walking and transfers.
• Give medication reminders.
• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Run household errands and provide transportation to doctor’s appointments.
