In Home Patient Care Assistant - PCA (Bentonville, AR)
About The Position
Visiting Angels of Lowell is hiring caregivers to serve clients throughout Northwest Arkansas, including Lowell, Bentonville, Rogers, and Centerton. The role supports clients’ quality of life and wellness in accordance with their individual care plans. Duties may include personal care and hygiene, light exercise and walks, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, medication reminders, mobility assistance, accompanying clients on shopping trips and appointments, and responding to emergencies. Caregivers report health changes or unusual incidents. Advanced training opportunities may be available in dementia care and Alzheimer’s care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to handle multiple duties at once.
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes at scheduled care times.
- Physical endurance for tasks such as carrying groceries and physically supporting a client.
- Comfort performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints.
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards, such as a background check.
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients’ days.
Nice To Haves
- Interest in broadening caregiving skills through advanced training in dementia care and/or Alzheimer’s care.
Responsibilities
- Help clients with personal care and hygiene.

- Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
- Assist clients with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments or errands.
