About The Position

Provide in-home support and companionship to an independent adult male in Pardeeville, Wisconsin. The client has mobility challenges and may have pain that makes some tasks difficult, but values his independence and seeks help as needed from a reliable, personable provider. The role includes building a friendly, long-term professional relationship and supporting the client in remaining in his home. Morning visits are needed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon, with light flexibility around these hours. Compensation is $16.32 per hour. The legal employer of record, if hired, would be the Member or the Member’s Managing Party, not Consumer Direct Care Network. Consumer Direct Care Network assists with recruiting; the Member or Managing Party has sole authority to hire or dismiss the worker.

Requirements

Dependability, punctuality, and ability to maintain a consistent schedule.
Communicate proactively if scheduling issues arise.
Comfort assisting with light personal care and household tasks.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Friendly, patient, and easy to be around.
Comfortable asking questions when unsure about a task.
Self-motivated and willing to help without constant direction.
Respectful of the client’s independence.
Willingness to work in a home with pets.
Must pass caregiver and criminal background checks.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide light morning personal care assistance, including dressing and bathing.
Provide companionship and social interaction.
Take initiative to complete household tasks when appropriate.
Wash dishes, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform general cleaning and housekeeping.
Assist with light errands and community outings.
Complete other household tasks as needed.
