About The Position
Consumer Direct Care Network is assisting a member in finding a reliable and personable provider to support an independent adult male in his home in Pardeeville, Wisconsin. The client values honesty, consistency, and reliability. He experiences mobility challenges and sometimes has pain that makes certain tasks difficult, so the provider will assist when needed while offering friendly companionship and helping him maintain his independence at home. The role is suited to someone who enjoys conversation, takes initiative, and is comfortable building a long-term professional relationship. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon, with light flexibility around those hours. Compensation is $16.32 per hour. New hires who complete CDCP training may receive up to $500 in training and retention bonuses during their first six months. If hired by a member or their managing party, that member or party—not CDCN—will be the legal employer and will have authority to hire or dismiss the provider.
Requirements
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule.
- Communicate proactively if scheduling issues arise.
- Comfortable assisting with light personal care and household tasks.
- Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- Friendly, patient, and easy to be around.
- Comfortable asking questions when unsure about a task.
- Self-motivated and willing to help without constant direction.
- Respectful of the client's independence.
- Willing to work with pets in the home.
- Pass caregiver and criminal background checks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is welcome but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide light morning personal care assistance, including dressing and bathing.
- Offer companionship and social interaction.
- Take initiative to complete household tasks when appropriate.
- Help with dishes, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, and general cleaning or housekeeping.
- Assist with light errands and community outings.
- Complete other household tasks as needed.
