About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking experienced, compassionate caregivers who are confident providing hands-on care to clients with mobility challenges, including clients who need assistance with Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand devices, and safe transfers. The role supports seniors in remaining safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Caregivers follow each client’s care plan and safety procedures, communicate professionally, and help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. The employer is looking for caregivers able to provide consistent, full-time care.
Requirements
- Professional caregiving experience.
- Comfort providing hands-on personal care.
- Experience assisting clients with mobility and fall-risk needs.
- Hoyer lift and/or client transfer experience.
- Ability to follow a client’s care plan and safety procedures.
- Strong communication and professionalism.
- Reliability, dependability, and responsibility.
- Valid caregiver documentation and required credentials.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Hoyer lift use and safe client transfers.
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and safe movement.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and supervision.
- Follow the client’s care plan and report changes or concerns.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
