About The Position
Senior Helpers of West Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties is seeking experienced, compassionate caregivers to join their team. The role involves providing personalized care to clients, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and confident, with a passion for serving others.
Requirements
- Experience caring for individuals in a home, hospital or facility setting.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- A compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
- The ability to work independently while delivering exceptional care
Nice To Haves
- Previous home care, assisted living, or skilled nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Supporting safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Providing medication reminders
- Observing and reporting changes in symptoms or condition
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Offering companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
- Following individualized care plans
- Communicating effectively with families and our office team
- Completing accurate care documentation
