About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring CNA, NA, and PCA caregivers to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients in their homes. The listed case is immediately available in Madison for a female client, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The role involves assisting clients with personal care and daily activities, supporting their well-being, and reporting changes in health or behavior. PCA online training is provided for interested applicants without PCA certification.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card and two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as moving from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
