In-Home Caregiver
About The Position
Community Living Alliance (CLA) is a nonprofit, community-based organization providing services for older adults and persons with disabilities and chronic illnesses. CLA has been rated among the top 20% of employers on Indeed for our Indeed Work Wellbeing Score and recognized as an inclusive employer in Dane County in 2024 and 2025. This role provides personal care and housekeeping services to individuals in their own homes. CLA provides all necessary training, so no experience is required. The schedule is flexible, allowing work around other commitments. Clients are available on bus routes or within walking distance. Each shift ranges from 1 to 3 hours.
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Own a Smart Phone for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Capable of lifting/moving/pushing/pulling 35 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Experience is not required as CLA provides all necessary training.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and housekeeping services to individuals in their own homes.
- Assist with showering/grooming.
- Assist with G-tube care.
- Assist with dressing.
- Meal preparation.
- Assist with transfers/repositioning.
- Assist with toileting (Full assist).
- Assist with bowel programs.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Provide any additional cares as outlined in the client’s individual care plan.
