About The Position

Right at Home Kentuckiana is hiring dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one daytime assistance to older adults in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients finish the day safely and comfortably by following care plans, arriving as scheduled, communicating clearly, and treating each person with dignity. No professional caregiving experience is required; paid training and ongoing support are provided. Hours vary with client needs and caregiver availability, with possible schedules ranging from 10 to nearly 40 hours per week. The role pays $16.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dinner or an evening snack.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Help clients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Complete light housekeeping, wash dishes, and tidy the kitchen.
• Clear walking paths and prepare the home for nighttime.
• Follow care instructions and the client's care plan.
• Arrive as scheduled and communicate clearly.
• Promptly report changes or safety concerns.
