About The Position

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel locally to client homes.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks and a drug screening.
• Current TB test and physical exam before the start date.
• CPR and First Aid certification; the employer can guide candidates in obtaining certification.
• Two professional and two personal references.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of PCA or Home Health Aide experience; the employer provides comprehensive training for suitable candidates without this experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
• Support clients in hobbies and activities, such as board games and cooking.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including walking stability and dressing.
• Document daily updates on clients’ physical and behavioral well-being.
