About The Position

Ability and Choice Services, Inc. (ACS) is hiring Daytime Caregivers for openings across the Wasatch Front, including Salt Lake and Tooele Counties. The role supports individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries in daily activities and helps them build skills and participate in their communities. Entry-level and Lead positions are available. ACS provides comprehensive training for suitable candidates; a CNA qualification is beneficial but not required. Full-time positions are 35–40 hours per week, and part-time positions are fewer than 25 hours per week. Shifts are typically eight hours and end no later than 7:00 p.m. Full-time roles may include occasional overtime. For select positions, the company may provide a vehicle, phone, and laptop or tablet. ACS is a family-owned social and community services provider established in 1987. Full-time employees are offered medical, dental, employee assistance program (EAP), and short-term disability plans. Employment is subject to required background review and drug screening. ACS participates in E-Verify.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a passion for serving people with developmental disabilities.
Have a smartphone, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Pass a background check and drug test; new hires are subject to post-offer and random drug screenings.
Provide original documents to confirm employment eligibility through E-Verify if hired.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries in daily activities.
Administer medications.
Assist with personal hygiene.
