Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks and physical mobility support.
• Ability to accurately follow written care plans and verbal instructions.
• Strong, respectful communication skills when interacting with clients, families, and staff.
• Reliable punctuality and a patient, positive demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience is a huge plus

Responsibilities

• Providing meaningful conversation, engagement, and emotional support.
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and general hygiene.
• Preparing food according to dietary needs and assisting with feeding if required.
• Managing laundry, dishes, trash, and general tidying up.
• Prompting clients to take scheduled medications.
• Aiding with safe transfers, repositioning, and using mobility equipment.
• Driving the client to medical appointments, errands, and approved outings.
• Providing in-home, non-medical caregiving.
• Giving family caregivers a reliable, well-deserved break.
• Logging shift activities and communicating any changes in the client's condition.

Benefits

• Competitive Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience and client needs).
