About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring a certified CNA, NA, or PCA to provide compassionate in-home personal care to a female client in the Forest area. The advertised client schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The role supports clients in the comfort of their own homes and may offer full-time, part-time, or PRN scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, and overnights. PCA online training is provided for interested applicants who are not certified.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card and two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as moving from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
