About The Position
Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is hiring compassionate, dependable Home Care Caregivers to serve Neenah-Menasha and surrounding communities. Caregivers provide personalized, one-on-one support that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The role emphasizes meaningful relationships and delivering comfort, companionship, dignity, and peace of mind to clients and their families. Day, evening, and overnight schedules are available, with full-time and part-time opportunities. The company provides paid orientation, training, mentorship, and shadow shifts, along with ongoing support and opportunities for career growth and continuing education.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Offer medication reminders.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
- Support mobility and fall prevention.
- Care for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and other age-related conditions.
- Promote clients' safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.
- Build meaningful, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
