About The Position
The PNW PACE In Home Caregiver provides assistance to professional staff and works with leadership and program staff to carry out daily activities. The caregiver helps implement and facilitate program-related processes and communicates effectively with the program team, participants, and other relevant stakeholders. The position is full-time (1.0 FTE), day shift, with a Monday–Friday schedule. The listed pay scale is $18.51–$25.47 USD; actual pay may depend on skills, experience, certifications, education, and applicable union pay steps. Requirements
- Current BLS and First Aid certification.
- Current food handlers permit.
- At least one year of experience in a health care setting working with the elderly.
Responsibilities
- Implement and facilitate group activities.
- Provide bathroom, transfer, mealtime, and ambulation assistance to participants.
- Assist with noontime meal preparation and cleanup.
- Communicate with team members, participants, rehabilitation professionals, and families.
- Provide assistance to professional staff and work with leadership and program staff to carry out daily activities.
- Help implement and facilitate program-related processes.
