Requirements

Required to confirm acceptance of the shift upon receiving it.
Must be available and ready to go on a last-minute shift.
Must have no complaints from clients.
Must be able to go to any client’s home.
Aid with clients walk-ins.
Provide high-quality care and companionship to clients during scheduled shifts.
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
Assist with mobility and transfers, always ensuring client safety.
Monitor and document the client’s health, behavior, and overall well-being, and report any changes to the Care Manager.
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
Administer medications as directed by the client's care plan (if trained and authorized).
Follow individualized care plans to meet the specific needs of each client.
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to follow detailed care plans and work independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to assist clients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, or in-home health aide is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide essential in-home care and support to clients.

Provide Dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Offer companion care.
Conduct home safety inspections.

Travel to any client's home.
Aid with clients' walk-ins.
