In-Home Caregiver / CNA – Flexible Shifts – Harlingen, TX
About The Position
Caring Senior Service of McAllen is hiring dependable Caregivers and CNAs to provide compassionate, non-medical in-home assistance to seniors in Harlingen, San Benito, and surrounding communities. The role supports clients’ daily routines, personal needs, and overall well-being. Shifts are flexible and may include days, nights, weekends, and PRN opportunities, with 4-, 8-, and 12-hour shift options. Pay is $9–$12 per hour, based on experience, assigned shifts, and individual client needs. Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional or personal caregiving experience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proof of current auto insurance.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
- Patient, compassionate, and dependable personality.
- Ability to read and write in English.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification or experience preferred.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Prepare meals and assist with daily routines.
- Run errands and provide transportation to appointments.
- Communicate updates with the care team.
