About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking Clinicians to join our growing team in Massachusetts. We are looking for talented and enthusiastic therapists interested in enhancing the mental wellness of people within our community. We value your experience delivering competent mental health services to individuals and families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns. This is a great opportunity for a newly licensed Master's level clinician as we provide supervision for Independent Licensure. Independent licensed clinicians will have opportunities to expand their skillsets. The In Home Behavioral Therapist (IHBS) will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral needs. IHBS Therapists support caregivers to better understand their children's needs by exploring patterns of behavior and improving communication. Bilingual and PRIDE opportunities are available.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, special education or related human services field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting highly desirable
  • Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders preferred
  • Experience with working with children on the autism spectrum desirable
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
