About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking dedicated Caregivers and CNAs to provide one-on-one care for clients in the Tri County area, including Mount Pleasant, Downtown Charleston, Daniel Island, and West Ashley. The role supports clients in living at home with comfort, independence, and dignity. Caregivers are part of a larger care team and have access to 24/7 clinical support. BAYADA offers flexible scheduling, including full-time, part-time, per-diem, and on-call opportunities, and aims to match employees with nearby clients. The position includes a base pay of $18 per hour and a $250 sign-on bonus after 100 hours worked. PTO and benefits are available as eligible, with ongoing training, scholarships, and career advancement support.

Requirements

At least one year of work experience.
One year of work experience providing hands-on care, or a Home Health Aide Certificate, or a Certified Nursing Assistant License.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living.
Perform light housekeeping and home management tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide range-of-motion exercises and assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
Assist with oral feeding and ambulation.
Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Provide medication assistance.
