About The Position

The Import Documentation Clerk is responsible for the inward cargo manifest in MSC USA’s system, as well as ensuring all system information is updated to reflect accurate data for all USA departments. Manifest shipments in MSC USA systems based on instructions received from various parties. Transmit EDI files to necessary entities and partners as specified by USCBP rules/regulations and internal procedures. Perform manifest amendments and ensure all necessary parties are aware of the amended data. Handle communications received by the department for resolution. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Presence required on‑site 5 days per week
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• English: advanced
• Strong attention to details
• Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively
• Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Great team player
• Knowledge of MS Office with the ability to learn new software
• Authorization to work in the U.S

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in Import/export documentation, transportation, or logistics customer service experience, preferably ocean import documentation experience preferred.
