Implementation Specialist
About The Position
ABiLITY is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Implementation Specialist to join our team supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others succeed, building strong relationships, and collaborating with staff, families, and community partners to ensure high-quality, person-centered services. As an Implementation Specialist, you will oversee and implement individualized support plans, monitor progress toward personal goals, ensure compliance, and provide leadership and guidance to Direct Support Professionals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid Missouri Class E Chauffeur's License
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Professional, dependable, and organized
- CPR/First Aid certification
- NVCI certification
- Level 1 Medication Aide Certification
- Tools of Choice Certification/facilitation
Nice To Haves
- Experience writing individual support plans, reports, goal updates, and annual summaries
- Experience with person-centered planning and developmental disability services
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee individualized support plans and person-centered services.
- Coordinate with individuals, families, staff, and service providers to support successful outcomes.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to Direct Support Professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Promote health, safety, independence, and community inclusion for individuals served.
- Support person-centered planning through Charting the Life Course and Tools of Choice practices.
