About The Position

North Country Business Products is looking for a skilled Point of Sale Implementation Specialist to join their growing team. This role involves delivering tailored POS solutions to clients, collaborating with sales teams, management, vendors, and clients to analyze business needs and translate them into effective system configurations. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and problem-solving, enjoys working directly with clients, and thrives in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities required

Nice To Haves

• POS system integration and implementation experience preferred
• Experience in retail, hospitality, or grocery environments preferred
• Familiarity with NCR ENCOR systems is a plus
• Working knowledge of POS systems and strong analytical skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze, program/configure, test, and document POS systems/software
• Provide knowledge and proficiency in POS software, operating systems, and networks
• Effectively and efficiently manage every installation project assigned, within the scope of work, to ensure quality client service and satisfaction.
• Effectively train clients in POS functionality.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight stays
