The Role As a member of our therapeutic discovery team, you'll explore the forefront of scientific discovery—from developing and executing in vitro assays on primary human T cells to analysing therapeutic candidates in humanized mouse models.

Requirements

Pursuing a MS in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, Immunology, or a related field
Experience with cell culture and aseptic technique
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working with highly technical projects and personnel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Competence with Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

Experience with immunology and nucleic acid modality is a plus.
Experience working with immune cells and a general understanding of immunology is highly preferred
Experience with flow cytometry and/or ex vivo mouse model sample processing is preferred

Responsibilities

Contribute to primary immune cell isolation from leukopak and inventory management.
Culture mammalian cells and perform gene delivery via transfection.
Execute in vitro assays to evaluate immune cell function, including multi-color flow cytometry, cytotoxicity assays and other functional readouts under the guidance of manager and other scientists on the team.
Conduct ex vivo analysis of immune cells through tissue processing and downstream assays and analyses
