Imaging Technologist (MRI) - Part Time - Weekends
About The Position
Join the Radiology team at NewYork-Presbyterian / Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where the team is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. The Imaging Technologist prepares and performs primarily MRI services, welcomes patients, visitors, and staff, and assists radiologists and other physicians with exams when necessary. The role includes assessing patient condition, producing quality radiographic images, and following safety standards. The position primarily covers MRI and provides inpatient and outpatient coverage at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, as well as coverage at Center for Community Health as needed. This part-time position is scheduled every Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. All roles require on-site presence, variable by role, and employees should live within commuting distance of NYP. NYP does not reimburse travel expenses.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- New York State Department of Health X-ray License.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
Nice To Haves
- New York State Department of Health IV Certification.
- ARRT Advanced Modality certification.
- At least 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
