Imaging Technologist - Per Diem
About The Position
The Imaging Technologist provides quality diagnostic images, comfort, and care for patients and employees at KVH. The role includes seeking opportunities to improve department operations and procedures; reviewing radiologic requests for appropriateness; verifying physician orders; and performing procedures safely, compassionately, and promptly. The technologist consistently produces quality images for radiologists to interpret and report to requesting physicians, maintains professional expertise, and takes responsibility for ongoing professional growth and development. The work requires knowledge of human growth, anatomy and physiology, anatomical positioning, pathology and physiological responses, disabilities, disease manifestations, and trauma.
Requirements
- Graduation from a radiology education program under the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
- ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist, or registry eligibility with successful completion of certification within six months of hire.
- Current Washington State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist Certification.
- Current American Heart Association BLS.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Registered Orthopedic Technologist (ROT) credential from The American Society of Orthopedic Professionals.
- ARRT Bone Density (BD) endorsement.
Responsibilities

- Perform imaging procedures in a safe, caring, and timely manner.
