About The Position
The Diagnostic Imaging Transporter provides essential assistance to technologists, technicians, radiologists, and the administrative team by helping patients move through imaging services. Under the direction of the director, manager, or designee (such as an RN or physician), the transporter assists with patient care and treatment consistent with their training and scope of certification and/or licensure. This is a per diem/on-call position with a schedule that varies.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program or CNA Training program.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of medical office experience.
