About The Position

The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs specialized technical tasks in Diagnostic Radiography, using X-rays to assist medical and professional personnel in detecting anatomical abnormalities while complying with Conway Regional Health System policies and procedures. The registered diagnostic Radiographer shares essential information with professional and technical health care personnel through documentation and oral communication and maintains the professional level of expertise required by Health System policy. The role also involves verifying orders, charging procedures, using the PACS system, and transporting patients with all necessary paperwork completed.

This is designated a Safety Sensitive Position under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. The posting states that an employee under the influence of marijuana constitutes a threat to patients and customers.

Requirements

• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Arkansas Department of Health license in Radiography.
• Successful completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers prior to completion of orientation.
• Previous computer experience.
