About The Position

The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs specialized technical tasks in diagnostic radiography, using X-rays to assist medical and professional personnel in detecting anatomical abnormalities while following Conway Regional Health System policies and procedures. The role shares essential information with healthcare personnel through documentation and oral communication and maintains professional expertise as required by Health System policy. Responsibilities also include verifying orders, charging procedures, working with the PACS system, and transporting patients with all necessary paperwork completed.

This is designated as a safety-sensitive position under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. The posting states that an employee under the influence of marijuana constitutes a threat to patients and customers for whom Conway Regional provides and supports healthcare-related services.

Requirements

• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Arkansas Department of Health license in Radiography.
• Successful completion of American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers before completion of orientation.
• Previous computer experience.
