About The Position
The Imaging Tech Student helps maintain the department’s uniform operation by performing a broad range of duties. The role includes receiving and processing paperwork, maintaining ongoing records, and performing exams according to policy while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and protection. The student assists the radiologist and attending physician, communicates effectively and appropriately, works efficiently and productively, and maintains a clean and safe environment through proper use and care of equipment. The role also requires a caring attitude toward patients, visitors, and employees.
Requirements
- Must have completed a clinical competency and be in training and in good standing with an affiliate school’s Radiology Program (GSCC or WSCC).
- Must have completed at least one semester of clinical rotation in this department or be willing to complete an in-service with a Registered Technologist before beginning a weekend shift.
- Should be certified in CPR.
