The Imaging Services Supervisor is a leader who has the skills to facilitate and deliver high quality evidence-based collaborative care to patients receiving a range of modalities in radiology diagnostics and interventions. In collaboration with the Imaging Services Director, the Supervisor possesses clinical expertise with 24-hour clinical and administrative accountability for the functions of the Radiology Department, including MRI, CT, x-ray, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, Cardiovascular Services, and Bone Density. Administrative responsibilities include human resources, staffing performance improvement, accountability for self, peers and staff and technology and strategy. The supervisor possesses broad-based clinical and leadership skills including communication, mentoring, advocacy, systems thinking, critical thinking, and establishment of a healthy work environment. He/she functions as a leader and role model in accordance with American Registry of Radiology Technologists.
