About The Position

This is a full-time Imaging Services Assistant position offering a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with no weekend or holiday call. This role blends direct patient care with clerical duties. Previous experience operating lift machinery, safely transporting patients, and working in a medical office environment is a major plus!

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• May require Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating lift machinery.
• Previous experience safely transporting patients.
• Previous experience working in a medical office environment.
• Medical Terminology, preferred.
• Experience in a hospital or medical environment, preferred.
• Customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works under the supervision of a radiologist, technologist, or radiology nurse.
• Performs clerical and/or patient care duties necessary to assist in performing imaging exams.
• Clerical duties may include, but are not limited to patient scheduling & registration, patient screening, reception, release of information, and maintaining inventory.
• Patient care duties may include, but are not limited to transporting and transferring patients, preparing patients for procedures, discussing exams and preps with patients, starting IV access lines, and assisting with minimally invasive procedures as approved by regional leadership and with documentation of training and competency.
• All other duties as assigned.
