About The Position

Manages the daily operations of multiple departments within Imaging to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of imaging management experience.
• One of the following is required: ARRT, ARDMS or RDCS or RVT or RVS or NMTCB or ARMRIT.
• Only ARRT and NMTCB require a CRT license (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
• Accredited Program in Imaging.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors highly preferred.
• Breast imaging experience highly preferred in ultrasound or mammography.
• Bachelor's degree in Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
• Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Develops and monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations.
• Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Responds to patient grievances and incident reports to identify opportunities for improvement of processes and patient care within Imaging Services.
