About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed, following established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. The role performs a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department and requires good interpersonal and communication skills. The assistant follows Corewell Health’s philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of patient care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross upon hire.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist the Technologist as needed under direct supervision.
