About The Position
At Centinela Hospital Medical Center, the Imaging Assistant supports diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and applicable ACR, AOA, state, and federal regulations. The role serves as a first-line interface with customers and helps meet their imaging needs. The Imaging Assistant also participates in performance improvement and quality control activities.
Requirements
- Current BCLS (ARC or AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained as current.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of state and federal medical imaging regulations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable ACR, AOA, state, and federal regulations.
- Serve as the first-line interface with customers and help accomplish their imaging needs.
- Participate in PI/QC activities.
