About The Position

Northeast Family Services (NFS) is seeking talented and enthusiastic therapists to join their growing team in Massachusetts. NFS values experience in delivering competent mental health services to individuals and families facing life challenges or mental health concerns. This is a great opportunity for a newly licensed Master's level clinician as supervision for Independent Licensure will be provided. Independent licensed clinicians will have opportunities to expand their skillsets. The In Home Behavioral Therapist (IHBS) will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home to treat a youth’s behavioral needs. IHBS Therapists support caregivers by helping them understand their children's needs, explore behavior patterns, and improve communication. Bilingual opportunities are available. The agency offers a summer schedule with "Summer Fun Fridays" where the office closes at 12:30 PM from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Requirements

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education or related CBHI approved degree program
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
• Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting highly desirable
• Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders preferred
• Experience with working with children on the autism spectrum desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral needs.
• Support caregivers to better understand their children's needs by exploring patterns of behavior and improving communication.
