About The Position

Distribution International is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to load, unload, receive, store, and distribute inventory. Warehouse team members support the facility’s daily operations and are expected to work safely in a fast-paced environment. This is a safety-sensitive position with local travel of less than 10%.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for Company purposes.
• Be able to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Be able to compute basic math problems.
• Have previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Be able to frequently bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, depending on job duties.
• Be able to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job-related tasks.
• Have good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory and store it in an orderly, accessible manner.
• Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report findings to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Perform physical loading and unloading of trucks.
• Carry out other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
