About The Position

Assistedcare at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide supportive services to intellectually or developmentally disabled (IDD) clients in their homes and/or communities in Leland, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. Care is delivered under the supervision of the IDD Clinical Supervisor. The role focuses on making life easier for clients by providing care and support that the company would expect for its own families.

Available shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexible scheduling. The posting lists pay of $15 per hour and a $300 sign-on bonus. Health insurance is available after one year of employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver's license.
• Auto insurance with the employee's name on the policy.
• Background checks are required.
• At least 6 months of experience working with the IDD population.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care.
• Provide excellent companionship and care.
• Provide supportive services in clients’ homes and/or communities under the supervision of the IDD Clinical Supervisor.
