About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as an ICU Dietitian in Springfield, IL! This role is located at Morrison Healthcare at HSHS St John's in an acute care setting. The schedule is Monday-Friday with rotating weekends every 5th. We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) with ICU experience preferred or at least 2 years of acute care experience. The salary range is $68,000-$90,000. Requirements

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
Specialty certification when required
Two years of work experience in specialty preferred
ICU experience preferred or 2 years acute care

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
