About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. The Cycle Counter must be able to anticipate potential problems and apply solutions and preventative measures. Key responsibilities include completing daily cycle counts, receipt adjustments, and supporting physical inventory requirements, while also achieving daily production targets and maintaining excellent attendance. The position requires the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and tuggers, and flexibility to support extraordinary production requirements. The individual will investigate abnormal situations, document findings using Microsoft Office, and possess excellent communication skills to present information to large groups and enforce policies and procedures. This role also supports and directs daily company production and projects.

Requirements

  • Post-high school education (2 - 4-year degree in Operations Management, Business or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Able to interact professionally within the company with our customer and associates.
  • Able to lead project teams and present information to management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able and willing to work any shift, hours, holidays, weekends, or overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to pass Hair Follicle Testing and Badging Process through HMA.
  • Computer skills- Microsoft Office; GCCS/GPCS.
  • Successful completion of Microsoft Assessment Test will be required.
  • Must be a full-time associate with a minimum of 3 months of service (Associate cannot be in their New Hire Probationary Period).
  • Must not have received any formal written occurrences other than attendance during the past 12 months.
  • Must not have more than 3.5 points during the time of posting.
  • Cannot have received a transfer from an internal posting from Division to Division within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Anticipating potential problems and applying solutions and preventative measures.
  • Completing daily cycle counts, receipt adjustments, and support of Physical Inventory requirements.
  • Achieving Daily production Targets.
  • Operating equipment such as Forklift and Tugger.
  • Supporting extraordinary production requirements.
  • Investigating abnormal situations and documenting findings utilizing Microsoft Office.
  • Communicating and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Supporting and directing daily company production and projects.
  • Following safety rules and requirements.
  • Ensuring work area is clean (5s at end of shift).
  • Maintaining Inventory Accuracy daily.
  • Reporting any inventory irregularities to supervisor immediately.
  • Ensuring correct receipt of all parts in both GCCS and GPCS (SOX).
  • Supporting overtime (scheduled or unscheduled).
  • Monitoring receiving areas to ensure correct receipt.
  • Interacting with team members and customer daily in a positive way.
  • Treating all associates consistently and respectfully.
  • Raising concerns/issues immediately to management.
  • Training on SOPs as presented by management.
