About The Position

Macy’s ICQA Troubleshooters perform problem-solving functions to correct inventory and operational issues while maintaining facility financial and unit inventory integrity. The role is based in a Macy’s distribution center and includes physically counting and moving boxes, using lifts to conduct cycle counts, investigating missing product, and completing daily tasks. Troubleshooters also provide feedback on inventory issues and help train new hires in department processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret employment policies, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English.
• Resourceful self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency using computers and handheld technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Physically count and move boxes, and use lifts to accurately perform cycle counts of warehouse items.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide consistent feedback on inventory issues to the Supervisor and/or management.
• Research and locate missing product.
• Complete the daily task list.
• Assist in training new hires in department processes.
