About The Position

Macy’s ICQA Troubleshooters perform problem-solving functions to correct inventory and operational issues while maintaining the facility’s financial and unit inventory integrity. The role is part of Macy’s Distribution Center operations, which prepare and package merchandise for delivery to stores and customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Read, understand, and interpret employment policies and instructional documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Be a resourceful self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
• Be proficient in using computers and handheld technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Meet the physical requirements of prolonged standing and walking; reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and climbing ladders; and frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Physically count and move boxes, and use lifts to perform accurate cycle counts of warehouse items.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide consistent feedback on inventory issues to a supervisor and/or management.
• Research and locate missing product.
• Complete the daily task list.
• Assist in training new hires in department processes.
