About The Position
The Ice Skating Rink Attendant Lead distributes free ice skates to rink users, monitors activity, keeps the rink clean, and ensures it is not overcrowded. The lead also assists with scheduling and training other rink attendants. This temporary position covers shifts at the Town of Johnstown’s first Glice (synthetic ice) rink in Eddie Aragon Park. The schedule is 4–7 PM Thursday and Friday and 2–7 PM Saturday and Sunday, from November 19, 2026, through January 11, 2027. Town holidays are excluded, and partial schedules will also be considered. The hourly rate is $20.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience leading people.
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions.
- A safety mindset.
Responsibilities
- Distribute free ice skates to rink users.
